This Policy governs all affiliates, influencers, and partners promoting CarsVid. By joining our program, you agree to comply fully with the guidelines below.

Introduction

This Affiliate Marketing Policy governs the conduct, responsibilities, and permitted activities of all individuals and entities — Affiliates, Partners, and Influencers — who participate in the CarsVid Affiliate Program. By joining the program, all partners agree to comply fully with this Policy.

CarsVid is Saudi Arabia’s first video-first car marketplace. Our brand is built on trust, transparency, and quality. This Policy exists to protect our brand, our users, and our partners.

Policy Scope

This Policy applies to all partner types: Media Buyers, Content Affiliates, Video & Social Influencers, and Strategic Business Partners — across all channels, platforms, and markets.

General Conduct & Brand Standards
1.1 Core Principles
  • •Honesty — Never make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about CarsVid, its platform, inventory, or services.
  • •Transparency — Always disclose your affiliate relationship clearly to your audience.
  • •Respect — Treat users, sellers, buyers, and competitors with professional respect.
  • •Compliance — Follow all applicable laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including advertising regulations issued by the CST and the Ministry of Commerce.
1.2 Brand Representation
  • •Use only approved brand assets provided in the official CarsVid Media Kit.
  • •Refer to the platform as "CarsVid" or "كارزفد" only. No nicknames, abbreviations, or altered spellings.
  • •Do not present yourself as an employee or official spokesperson of CarsVid.
  • •Do not register domain names or social handles incorporating "CarsVid" without prior written consent.
  • •Do not create unofficial CarsVid pages or accounts that could be mistaken for official channels.

The following table outlines which marketing channels are permitted, conditional, or prohibited:

Language Policy

CarsVid operates exclusively in Arabic (\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0631\u0628\u064A\u0629) and English. All affiliate-produced content that promotes or references CarsVid must be in one of these two languages only.

CarsVid reserves the right to request removal or correction of content with significant spelling, grammar, or factual errors that may reflect poorly on the brand.

Content Guidelines
4.1 What You Are Allowed to Say
  • •Describe CarsVid accurately as "Saudi Arabia's video-first car marketplace."
  • •Highlight the platform's video-walkthrough feature as a key differentiator.
  • •Share specific car listings (with their videos) from the platform.
  • •Discuss general benefits such as convenience, transparency, and ease of buying/selling.
  • •Share your genuine personal experience using the platform.
  • •Use commission rates and program benefits as described in your affiliate agreement — without adding false incentives.
4.2 What Is NOT Allowed

Prohibited Content — Violation may result in immediate termination and commission forfeiture

The following are strictly forbidden across all channels and formats.

  • •Making false claims about car prices, condition, mileage, or availability on the platform.
  • •Claiming CarsVid guarantees a sale or lead within a specific timeframe.
  • •Using sensationalist phrases: "100% guaranteed", "no risk", "instant money" or similar.
  • •Comparing CarsVid to competitors in a denigrating or defamatory manner.
  • •Re-uploading vehicle listing videos outside the official embed/share mechanism.
  • •Featuring real individual users without their documented written consent.
  • •Creating content targeting minors or inappropriate for a general audience.
  • •Using AI-generated fake reviews or fabricated testimonials attributed to real users.
  • •Publishing hate speech, religious offense, political commentary, or content violating Saudi law.

Paid Advertising Rules
5.1 Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • •Bidding on generic automotive keywords (e.g. "used cars KSA", "buy car Riyadh") is permitted.
  • •Bidding on CarsVid brand keywords (e.g. "CarsVid", "كارزفد", "carsvid.com") requires prior written approval.
  • •Ad copy must not imply you are CarsVid. Display URLs must clearly show your own domain.
  • •Landing pages must be honest, relevant, and must not collect user data beyond your stated privacy policy.
5.2 Social Media Advertising
  • •All paid social ads must include a clear disclosure ("إعلان" / "#ad" / "#sponsored") visible without clicking "see more."
  • •Countdown timers or fake scarcity messages not based on real offers are prohibited.
  • •Ad creative must not use manipulated or misleading images of vehicles.
  • •Retargeting campaigns using CarsVid audience data are not permitted without a signed data-sharing agreement.

Disclosure Requirements

All affiliates are required to clearly disclose their commercial relationship with CarsVid. This applies to all content types: posts, videos, articles, stories, and ads.

Lead Quality Standards (CPL)

Since CarsVid pays commissions on a CPL basis, lead quality is critical. Affiliates are responsible for driving genuine, qualified interest — not gaming the system.

7.1 Qualified Lead Definition

A lead is considered qualified and eligible for commission when ALL of the following are met:

  • •Valid & functioning Saudi phone number — the number must be active and reachable.
  • •Phone number belongs to the same customer who submitted the lead — leads submitted on behalf of another person are not eligible.
  • •Mobile number is based in Saudi Arabia — foreign or international numbers do not qualify.
  • •Counted once per customer — even if the same customer submits multiple leads, only the first contact is counted.
7.2 Prohibited Lead Practices

Lead Fraud — Zero Tolerance

Affiliates found engaging in lead fraud will be immediately terminated, all pending commissions forfeited, and legal action may be pursued.

  • •Self-referrals — submitting leads using your own details or those of family members.
  • •Incentivized leads — paying or rewarding users to submit inquiries.
  • •Bot-generated or automated form submissions.
  • •Using VPNs or IP masking to inflate click or lead counts.
  • •Coordinating with other affiliates to generate fake cross-referral leads.

Intellectual Property & Brand Assets
8.1 Permitted Use
  • •Use the official CarsVid logo from the provided Media Kit without alteration.
  • •Use approved colors: Navy (#0B1F3A), Red (#DD3B4A), White (#FFFFFF).
  • •Share car listing videos via the platform's native share or embed function.
  • •Reference CarsVid by name in content, descriptions, and ad copy.
8.2 Prohibited Use
  • •Modifying, distorting, recoloring, or animating the CarsVid logo.
  • •Downloading and re-uploading vehicle listing videos to any external platform.
  • •Creating derivative works, parody accounts, or unofficial branded merchandise.
  • •Using CarsVid assets in political, religious, or controversial content.

Data Privacy & Compliance

All affiliates must comply with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and any applicable sector-specific regulations.

  • •Do not collect, store, or share personal data obtained through CarsVid interactions beyond standard affiliate tracking.
  • •Your landing pages must have a clear and accessible Privacy Policy.
  • •Do not use tracking pixels or retargeting audiences built from CarsVid user data without a signed Data Processing Agreement.
  • •Any data breach affecting users who interacted via your affiliate link must be reported to CarsVid within 24 hours.

Policy Violations & Enforcement

ViolationMinor — Missing disclosure label, incorrect logo usage, content in unsupported language.
ConsequenceWritten warning. 7-day correction window.
🔴Level 2
ViolationModerate — Misleading claims, unauthorized brand keyword bidding, use of prohibited channels.
ConsequenceCommission hold pending review. Possible forfeiture. Tier downgrade.
🚫Level 3
ViolationSevere — Lead fraud, impersonation, data breach, illegal content, defamation.
ConsequenceImmediate termination. All commissions forfeited. Legal action may be pursued.

Policy Amendments & Governing Law
  • •CarsVid reserves the right to update this Policy at any time with 14 days' notice to active affiliates.
  • •Affiliates will be notified of material changes via their registered email address.
  • •Continued participation after the effective date of an amendment constitutes acceptance.
  • •This Policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of KSA.
  • •The Arabic version of this Policy shall be the governing version in any conflict between the two language versions.
